Phaedra Henderson, A.S., B.S.
Clinical Administrator
Phaedra Henderson is one of the program’s founders and has been with the agency since 2012. She brings years of experience in the behavioral health field. She has a Bachelor’s of Science from ASU where she graduated summa cum laude in 2015. She uses her insight in the day-to day-functioning as the Clinical Administrator. She works hard to make sure the program remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies. In addition, she is consistently looking for ways to improve and enhance the program to provide the best possible care to every client that walks through the door. Phaedra began her personal journey of recovery in 2007 and is a strong advocate for anyone that is looking to find a different way to live. She understands on a personal and professional level what it takes to make life changing moves to better your life.
Gigi Touchon-Grebb, LISAC, LMSW
Clinical Director
Gigi earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University in 2006 and a BS in Psychology from Northern Arizona University in 2001. She has been working in the human services field in excess of 20 years and is a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor with about 20 years of management and clinical supervision experience. In addition, she is trained in EMDR and nutritional medicine for mental health. She has worked with a wide range of populations from general mental health to Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI). Gigi is dedicated to transforming the lives of our clients through positive psychology, motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy. She truly has a gift for being able to meet people where they are to help them find the best person they can be. She is an integral piece of the administrative and clinical supervisory team. Gigi is a fun loving and caring individual who has herself, walked the journey of recovery, like many other TLC staff members. She kinda rocks!


Dr.Cho Long Kim
NMD - Naturopathic Medical Doctor
Dr. Kim completed her undergraduate work at the University of California, Riverside 2004, with degrees in Biochemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry. While pursuing these degrees, she decided to enter the Naturopathic profession for fulfill her dreams to treat the patient’s mind, body and spirit using non-invasive, natural means to help patients find their way back to healing the way nature intended. This led her to pursue Naturopathic Medicine as opposed to traditional western medicine, as it offered her the best tools to address and treat the root cause of disharmony within individuals needing aid. She received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 2008, graduating from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. During her training, she developed an interest in Addiction Medicine and actively pursued clinical rotations with this emphasis as well as all the naturopathic modalities (acupuncture, nutrition, homeopathy, traditional Chinese medicine, naturopathic physical manipulation therapy, etc.) to help bring the body back to balance. Currently, Dr. Kim is honored to serve as the medical director at TLC and multiple drug and alcohol treatment centers through the valley. She holds two active faculty appointments at the collegiate level and maintains a professional vlog and podcast on health, empowerment, and equity in the society we live in today. As a cancer survivor, Dr Kim “walks the walk” as she continuously advocates for self-care with her love for yoga, meditation and indoor cycling.
Matt Bassett
Facility Operations, BHT
Mathew has been with TLC Treatment Center since December of 2012. Matt started out his career here
by answering incoming calls and has moved up to being an integral, essential member of the
administrative team. Through his tenure with the center, he has gained a vast knowledge base to keep
the facility running smoothly. He is often the go-to person if anyone has questions about compliance,
licensing, billing and administration. Matt became interested in being a part of the treatment center
realm after he began his own journey of in early 2012. Matt’s dedication and work ethic are
phenomenal and he is always willing to help anywhere he can.


Josh Villa
Josh came to us from Orange County, California in January 2020 to learn and grow in the business of behavioral health and substance abuse. Through his tenure, Josh has grown from the front office assistant to the Intake & Admission Coordinator at TLC Treatment Center. Over the past 2 years, he has become an essential team member who has shown he can work well under pressure and with varying types of personalities from clients and other personnel alike. Josh is one of the first welcoming voices clients talk to on the phone when they are reaching out to help in desperate times. He handles each conversation with care and compassion understanding deeply that each person is unique and deserves dignity and respect. He truly understands it takes strength and determination to get into recovery. Josh brings a very fun loving and youthful energy to TLC Treatment Center!
Aileen Bohn
Primary Therapist
Aileen has earned her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling in 2018. She has facilitated addiction
recovery groups for several years focusing on food and codependency. She originally began working at
TLC as an intern and has remained on board close to 3 years as a therapist. Her earlier career path
focused on international studies as she remained focused on her own recovery journey. She is
passionate about the possibility of human transformation if provided essential tools found in therapy and recovery tools. She uses several therapeutic modalities including motivational interviewing, cbt,
EMDR, as well as mindfulness tools.


Andrea Federico
Primary Therapist
Andrea has been with the TLC Treatment Center since 2016 and is currently student of Grand Canyon University studying to receive her Master’s Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling. She currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management which was attained through Arizona State University. Andrea has moved up through various positions at TLC Treatment Center where started as an assistant house manager and moved on to a case manager. She started to find her passion for the therapeutic side of treatment and decided to pursue her education and further her training. She works from a person-centered approach that incorporates influences from attachment and solution-focused perspectives. She collaborates with clients to identify and enlist their internal strengths and resources to approach life’s challenges. Andrea has provided several years of experience to the TLC Treatment Center team and provides guidance and insight from her own personal recovery from addiction.

Casey Murphy, BHT
House Manager
Casey Murphy has been with TLC Treatment Center since November 2019 where he started as driving support and has moved up to lead house manager of the adjunct sober living. He oversees the day-to-day operations at the housing level while coordinating with the clinical, medical and administrative team at TLC Treatment Center. Casey is level-headed and has a great instinct for how to best help all of the clients in the housing program. He is seen as a great example of what recovery is about and keeps a great balance of accountability and kindness with all the clients he manages. Casey began his own recovery journey in August 2018 and knew he wanted to work in the recovery field shortly after getting a good grasp on his own sobriety. He completed his Peer Support training through Terros in March 2020 to further his education and grow in the field.
Alane Maley, BHT
Case Manager
Alane Maley, known by everyone as Laynee has spent the last 3 years working in the recovery field. She is able to use her own personal journey and struggle with drug addiction to support others in gaining independence from addictive behavior. Laynee knows there is no single approach that works for everyone, so she continues to educate herself on psychological trends and programs that provide the most cutting edge, comprehensive successful classes that work for individual needs. Laynee has found great success in 12 step, cognitive behavioral theory, rational emotive behavior therapy and Smart Recovery which she implements into her groups each day.
Laynee received her education at the State University of New York earning a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology in 1997. She has plans of returning to school at Grand Canyon University for her master’s degree in the addiction field. Laynee is currently working as our BHT and lead facilitator. She is from NY but has lived in the Mesa/Gilbert area with her boyfriend Scott of 21 years, their 2 kids and French bulldog, Tucker. Laynee is an avid golfer and loves sports and fashion.


Deborah Slay, BHT
Administrative Support
Deborah has been with TLC Treatment Center since May 2013 as the women’s sober living house manager approximately 6 months into her own personal recovery journey. From there, she trained and became educated as a case manager and group facilitator. She provided stellar, thorough case management services to her whole caseload. Deborah had an opportunity to be of service to her family back in North Carolina so she left TLC Treatment Center in August 2019 to expand her recovery journey and be there for her family. She returned to TLC Treatment Center in July 2021 and joined the administration team where she works today. She has been a dedicated team member always willing to help wherever asked. She is a true testament to the changes someone can make if they stay focused on their recovery and remain of service. She has a fun-loving nature, is loyal to her teammates and friends and is always up to have fun in recovery!
